Episode 02: “Backlights Do All The Talking”

In this video, we're breaking down the most simplest lighting set up EVERY studio photographer should know with a little razzle dazzle. This setup is the studio go to, to add a nice highlight/ glow to clients and will get you clean CRISP photos every time.

Gear Needed:

-Any Colored Seamless Backdrop

-(1) 51 inch Umbrella

-(2) 9 inch Strip Boxes

-(3) Strobes ( 300w or more)

-(3) C-stands

Camera Settings:

CAMERA: CANON R5

LENS: 24-70MM

ISO: 100

F-STOP: 5.6

SHUTTER SPEED: 1/125S

COLOR PROFILE: AWB + Portrait

LIGHT POWER: Key Light ( umbrella) 1/4 power, Back Lights ( strips) 1/8 power
